Does your shop do factory scheduled maintenance? Yes, factory scheduled maintenance involves performing standard maintenance services on a schedule recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. While these services may be required to maintain warranty and minimize breakdown, having them performed by the manufacturer’s dealer is not. Our service consultants will let you know the recommended scheduled maintenance items for your specific make and model per manufacturer guidelines. In addition, our ASE certified Master Technicians are well able to perform all of the maintenance issues on cars, light trucks, and SUVs. (If you have a scheduled maintenance contract that was included in the purchase price of your new vehicle, or bought as an add-on, you may have “pre-paid” for maintenance at a specific service center. | When should I replace my tires? Replace tires when the tread is worn down to 2/32 of an inch. Tires have built-in tread wear indicators called “wear bars” that will appear when the tread is worn down. When you see these “wear bars,” it indicates the tire is worn out and needs to be replaced. Irregular wear on the tire may indicate other conditions that should be corrected. Talk with your service consultant. back to top

Can you tell me why my check engine light is on? Yes, but only if you bring your car in for diagnosis. Computers and sensors monitor a variety of different systems on vehicles these days so there can be a number of reasons why your warning light has come on. A steady light indicates the OBD system has found a problem. If the light is blinking, it indicates the problem is serious and service is required ASAP. Either way, our shop has the sophisticated scanning tools required to pinpoint the failure as well as the technical expertise to repair it. back to top

Can you inspect a used car before I buy it? Our shop would perform a pre-purchase inspection for you. Some things can’t be seen by just glancing under a hood. Our ASE certified technician could inspect and evaluate the car’s condition in a little over an hour. back to top

How can I tell if I need an alignment? Look for one or more of the following symptoms: Premature or uneven tire wear Vehicle pulls right or left Vehicle feels "loose" or "wandering" When driving straight ahead, the steering wheel is off center

I purchased an extended warranty. Can you still service my car? Yes, we can provide service under most extended warranty plans. While claims under a manufacturer warranty needs to go back to the dealer, we can handle aftermarket extended warranties. As warranty plans vary, call us for more information on working with your specific extended warranty. back to top

Do you work on import cars like my Audi? Yes, we service Audi's, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, and many other imports. We have the specialty tools and resources to work on imports as well as domestic vehicles. back to top

Will you give me a telephone quote for service? Other than for tires, we generally avoid telephone quotes. Over the years we have found that telephone quotes become an awkward experience for both the consumer and service advisor. Even though we use industry-accepted labor hour tables and standard retail parts pricing, labor and parts vary tremendously from vehicle to vehicle, even within the same make and model car. In addition, providing a phone quote for a specific job without a vehicle inspection is simply misleading; it is not even know if the quoted service would fix the vehicle failure. back to top
